I agree. If a contract for a driver's license does not require a response or acknowledgment from the license holder, it can be argued that there was not full disclosure or informed consent. The license holder may not have been fully aware of the terms or conditions of the license, or may not have had the opportunity to opt-out or negotiate the terms.
NZ is registered (twice) with companies house too. I wrote to them as the address for service wasn't valid. I got stonewalled on that. So I wrote to 'foreign affairs n trade' as per the filings and was told that these are not companies, 'they are leases'. My understanding of the system is that from the time of billy the conqueror (1066) we have been 'subjects' to a lease and must pay the rent. Ergo, NZ is a company operating under a lease, collecting rents. Every so often the 'lease' gets a new title. I can share the companies house listings and the letter from FAnT, but not sure how to do this here.
" and I appreciate the back-and-forth as we honed in on precision. " "...honed in" ?????
